Our beloved Margaret Ann Stevenson (Maggie), devoted mother, wife, daughter, sister, gma, aunt and friend, left this world to reunite with her dad and brothers.  She was surrounded by her loved ones.

Mom left behind a legacy of love, compassion, hope, wisdom and teachings. Maggie touched everyone she came across with her spirit, wisdom, love and humour.

She will forever be remembered by her best friend, her partner (donkey) Chris; her beautiful mother, Maryann; the gems of her life, her sons, Devane (Sandy) and her baby Keifer, Veronica (Wyatt) Hudson and Skyler Sutherland; sisters, Brenda (Jimmy) and Iris (Ricky); her step-children, Ayla (Ryan), Autumn Lee (Chris) and Chenise; she also took these families as her own, Cheryl (Craig), Charlotte Truthwaite and Tyrel Brisco and many more.

She had a heart of gold. Her grandbabies, Tristin, Dorion (Peanut), Darious, Roman, Kaeleb, Kaesin, Chris Jr., Charles, Cassius, Korey, Taylor, Layla, Malek, and River.  She loved everyone unconditionally, her aunties and uncles, Larry (Eva) Stevenson, Diane (Keith) Forster, Arlene (Albert) Sutherland, Dave (Fran) Govereau, Theresa Govereau, Sharon Kirkness and Johnny Bear Sr.; sisters in-law, Val, Myrna, Julietta (Munro) and Nealda; her best bud, Grant Thompson; her godchildren, and her nieces, Darian, Brittany, Kathleen and Desiree; nephews, Jordan, Conrad and Dennis;  great nieces and nephews, too numerous to mention, but always remember she held you close to her heart.

Waiting for her at Heaven’s gate, was her dad, Donald; brothers, Donald Greg and Gary Dean; her baby boy; her grannies, Mary, Marita and Granny Kate; aunties, Bertha Cook (Stevenson), Kandy and Koreen; uncles, Fred Stevenson, Allen and Johnny Govereau; as well as numerous other relatives.

The family would like to thank Fisher Ambulance, Peguis Chief & Council, First Nation Safety officers, Anderson Family Funeral Home, her co-workers at Peguis Fire Hall, and all those who donated to her funeral expenses.  The family blesses your heart and we wish you all well.

You Meant So Much
By: Cassie Mitchell

You meant so much to all of us
You were special and that's no lie
You brightened up the darkest day
And the cloudiest sky

Your smile alone warmed hearts
Your laugh was like music to hear
I would give absolutely anything
To have you well and standing near

Not a second passes
When you're not on our minds
Your love we will never forget
The hurt will ease in time

Many tears I have seen and cried
They have all poured out like rain
I know that you are happy now
And no longer in any pain.
