It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend Gordon Stagg Sr.

Dad leaves to mourn his children, Loverine Stagg, Gordon (Olive) Stagg Jr., Trina Maud, Norma (Ron) Anderson, Karl Stagg Sr., Emily Letandre and Merdina (Cecil) Woodhouse; brother, Ormand Stagg Sr.; sisters, Joyce Zettergreen and Sophie Stagg; sisters in law, Eileen Stagg and Shirley Letandre; brothers in-law, Alex Letandre, Bernard Letander and Roy (Barbara) Letandre; grandchildren, Marsha Gabriel, Tonita (John) Stagg, Chad Stagg, Candace Sinclair, Jeremiah (Ashley) Maud, Steven (Loretta) Maud, Ian Maud, Alex Maud, David Anderson, Montana (Brittany) Anderson, William Stagg, Karl Stagg Jr, Clayton Stagg, Quinn Stagg, Adrian Stagg, Garda Letandre, Tabatha (Josh) Bergin, Zane (Annie) Lavallee, Mitchell Anderson, Alfred (Chelsea) Anderson, Michael Toth, Clayton Toth, Ashley Toth, Ashton Toth, Marlena Toth, Matthew Woodhouse; Payton Stagg & Malachi Sinclair whom they raised; great grandchildren, too numerous to mention; nieces and nephews, too numerous to mention.

Dad was predeceased by his wife, Genevieve (2015); his parents, Harriet Stagg & John Woodhouse; daughters, Pearl Lavallee, Bessie Anderson and granddaughter Rachel M. Woodhouse (2025); his siblings, Myrtyle (Robert) Woodhouse, Irene (John) Marsden, Hattie (William) Sumner, Isabella Penner, Beatrice Redford, David (Caroline) Anderson, Albert (Annie) Woodhouse, Christina (Sherman) Sinclair and Andrew (Mary) Thompson; In-laws, William & Victoria Letandre, Kennard (Alma) Letandre, Adlaide (Colin) Moar, Laura (John) Laquette, Willy Letandre, Merv Letandre, Hattie Letandre, Marina Letandre; son in-law, Jamie Maud; and by his daughter in-law, Marilyn Stagg (Sinclair).

Dad married mom on Dec. 28, 1960, which was also mom's birthday. They celebrated their 50th anniversary Dec. 2010, a dinner was made for them by their granddaughter Marsha Sinclair. They enjoyed 55 years of marriage together. Dad was a hunter and trapper.

The family would like to thank all the people who visited our dad while he was in and out of the hospital. Special mention his great granddaughters, Tallie, Leanna and Braelynn Maud, who helped a lot when dad would come home from hospital. Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fairford House of Prayer, Fairford, Manitoba, with Freda Woodhouse officiating.

Funeral Service: Sunday, January 11, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. Fairford House of Prayer, Fairford, Manitoba, with Pastor Wilfred Bruce officiating.

Interment: St. Helen's Anglican Church Cemetery, Fairford, Manitoba
