It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Earl Sinclair, our father, grandpa and papa, on January 29, 2026 at the age of 75 years.

Earl was predeceased by his mother, Rosie Sinclair; father, Albert Shorting; wife, Elva Sinclair; brothers, Leslie, Allan and Norman Sinclair; sister, Daisy Sinclair; grandsons, Adam Sinclair and Donelly Disbrow; granddaughter, Hanna Hudson; daughters, Roberta Sinclair-Disbrow and Bonnie Sinclair-Anderson; as well as numerous other relatives.

Earl leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Roslynn Sinclair (Stuart Sanderson), Beverly Nielson (Chris Seenie); grandsons, Hubert Hudson (Paige Everette), Mitchell Disbrow; granddaughters, Stephanie and Destiny Anderson, Lucinda Disbrow (Chris Sumner); many great grandchildren; his sisters, Dorothy Sinclair and Sarah Jane Traverse; brother, John Sinclair; as well as numerous other relatives and all his friends.

Dad’s favorite verse was Psalm 23 (The Lord is my Shepherd).  Earl Sinclair accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Saviour and he did holy communion with his best buddy, Pastor Earl Dano and his wife, Wanda.

Earl was multi-talented, he had many jobs; carpenter, councillor, water plant advisor, etc.  Earl and his wife were foster parents for many years. The last children they looked after were his grandchildren and great grandchildren; Hubert and Hanna Hudson and great grandchildren, Leixia, Denzel and Caleb Sinclair.

Family and friends were very important to Earl.  They loved to talk about work, his past life and he loved to tease and tell jokes. His joy was to make people laugh and smile.

I want to say a special thank you to the hospitals that took care of dad before his passing; Eriksdale Hospital, Selkirk Hospital, Ashern Hospital and Brandon Regional Health Centre; God bless you for your hard work, thank you.  Also thank you to the Little Saskatchewan First Nation Chief & Council, and the cooks and helpers, and all those that donated.

Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd:
I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness
for His name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:
for Thou art with me;
Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of mine enemies:
Thou anointest my head with oil;
My cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life:
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
