Dwayne Elliot Peebles
February 21, 1989 - March 12, 2026
Funeral Details
You were born the morning of February 21, 1989 at the Women's Pavillion in Winnipeg, Manitoba and entered your journey to the Spirit World in the early morning hours of March 12, 2026. You went to join all our loved ones that went before you. However, you left us all too soon.
You were always full of laughter and full of jokes. You could always pull a fast one on someone, if they weren't paying attention. Throughout your young life, you tried hard to be the best person you could be, however life threw you a lot of curve balls. You became a dad 14 years ago and tried your best to what was presented to you. There again challenges you faced, you faced head on. You tried your best. You loved all your children with all that you had, I admired that about you. You were also a very loving brother and son, always asking about your sisters, even though you wouldn't have seen each other for long periods of time. Always saying, “tell them I love them”, never once did you not ask about them, always wanting to know. You always knew to come home and check in with me and to come and “shop”. Wherever you were and what ever you were doing, you always knew to come home. You were always known as my hogie son, when others asked about you, they'd say, “where's your hogie son?” or “I saw your hogie son”. That's just how it was. To your cousins, you were known as “chocolate” or “chocolate moose”, memories we will fondly hold dear in our hearts.
You are survived by your children, son Ricco, daughter Porsha, son Chevy, daughter Xenia, son Mogili and son Rikki; mom Glenda; dad Chris; sisters, Hillary, Georgia (Riley) and Izzy; nephew, Alijah; niece Ezra (aka Dooty); uncles, Albert, Carl (Charlotte), Arliss and Emery Stagg, Gene Hourie; aunties, Charlotte, Joanne (Allen) Ewen, Charlene, Sharon and Terri; granny Beatrice Peebles; special friend Amy; as well as many, many cousins, too numerous to mention but he loved each and every one of them.
You were predeceased by your sister Rikki; aunties, Cheryl and Sandra; cousins, Jason and Sammy Peebles, Kurtis Stagg and Soomie Clifford Peebles.
Rest now my son
