Donna Marie Marsden
Funeral Details
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend, Donna Marsden on August 4, 2026 at the age of 41 years old.
Donna leaves to mourn, her son, Samon; dad, Donald Pruden; sisters, Bonnie Spence, Daisy (Kevin) Marsden, Farrah Marsden, Sherry (Clint) Marsden, Melodie Marsden and Colleen Marsden; along with her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, friends and other relatives.
Donna was predeceased by her mom, Cora Marsden; sister, Tanya Marsden; son in infancy, Damon Marsden; grandparents, John Bull and Sarah Jane Marsden, Constance Spence and Edgar Prince; her aunt, Mary Shorting; as well as numerous other relatives.
Donna was a very loving person, she always made you feel welcome and would take you in. She loved to cook, and was always on her phone. She took care of herself, doing her hair and makeup... she’d change her look every week. Donna was always on the go, she didn’t like drama...she just wanted to be happy. She loved her family very much. We’re sure going to miss her, but she’s happier now that she’s with our mom. We’re just waiting until we all meet again.
Wake and Funeral Services: Tuesday, August 18, 2026 and Wednesday, August 19, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. each evening at the Anderson Family Funeral Home, 9 Railway Avenue, Ashern, Manitoba.
Cremation will follow the service with interment at a later date.
Officiant: Pastor Earl Dano
Appreciation: The family would like to extend a special thank you to the team that took care of her at the Health Sciences Centre; Anderson Family Funeral Home; and all those who have showed up and offered their support during this time.
When I Lost You
I wish I could see you one more time
Come walking through the door
But I know that is impossible
I will hear your voice no more.
I know you can feel my tears
And you don't want me to cry
Yet my heart is broken
because I can't understand why
someone so precious had to die.
I pray that God will give me strength
And somehow get me through
As I struggle with this heartache
That came when I lost you.
