It is with great sadness our family announces the sudden passing of our adored son, brother, nephew, grandson, cousin & friend Corbin Ryder Constant. Beloved son of Annette Joy Cook & Sam Constant.
Corbin was born on October 30, 1994 in The Pas, Manitoba. He grew up in Grand Rapids and graduated from Grade 12 in 2014. After graduation he attended UCN in The Pas completing Heavy Duty Mechanics, worked as a General Helper with Manitoba Hydro, Maintenance and Operator for Manitoba Highways, then employed as a Manitoba Hydro Electrical Trainee where he was employed in his home community and would often fly and work in many remote communities. In 2025, Corbin was happy to complete his 3rd year in Electrical at RRC. His parents were so proud of his education and willingness to work.
Corbin was a humble, kindhearted spirit and he embraced life fully. Known for his love of laughter, he enjoyed teasing and joking around with family and friends. Corbin was adventurous and liked to travel. He travelled to Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Francisco and would accompany his younger siblings on their grad trips on the request of his mom to ensure they will be in safe hands. That's just the kind of big brother Corbin was, a protective brother who deeply loved and cared for his siblings. Participating in canoeing events was a sport he loved doing. He would often train and enter competitions with his dad and canoed professionally together for 2 years; it was a passion they both shared. Corbin had a kind, gentle soul and a heart full of love for everyone. He was also respectful and had an outgoing personality. He could accomplish anything he set his mind to. His mom would give him a “sonny-do-list” that involved anything whether it was electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or mechanical work. Corbin never ceased to amaze his mother, with all the incredible things he was able to do and achieve throughout his life. His radiant smile, infectious laughter, and vibrant humor lit up every room, leaving a lasting imprint on all he met. He was a dependable person, always there when needed, and always ready to offer help in any way. Corbin also cherished his pets: his bearded dragon named Xion and family dog Flower who have since passed on, Vader who he referred to as “his boy” and Iris who still remain and will forever miss their master.
At his time of his passing Corbin was in a relationship with Tasha Ferland whom he referred to as his “babe” and considered Aubrey & Lilah as his own. Their young love will remain in our hearts. We pray she will come home to us soon.
Corbin will be missed dearly by his mother, Annette, brothers Jared, Keegan (Alexis), Evan & sister Ashlyn, father, Sam & children Angel, Roberta Lee, Haydence, & T.J.

Thank you to his Dad Sam, cousins Darren, Bradley, Ray Charles and uncle Johnny, Prince Albert Search Team, Island Lake Search Team, HEART Team, Local Fisherman, Easterville CLCP, & volunteer fire fighters who spent countless hours of searching for Corbin & continue to search for Tasha. Also, to Manitoba Hydro & Chief and Council for the countless donations of food, shelter and supplies.

Funeral Service
Final Farewell will begin on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. followed by funeral service at St. James Anglican Church with reverend Bartholomew Martin presiding.

I was asked to write a letter in memory of you. I wondered where to start. Perhaps the moment you were born, the sight of you that stole your mothers heart. When the Doctor placed you in my arms, it was love at first sight. From that very moment, I knew I would protect you with every inch of my life. Raising you was easy, you were such a happy little boy with such a beautiful smile. Who would have known you were only lent to me for a while. You never gave me a hard time, never once said no. I told you so many times, how proud you made me, I hope you know. You paved the way for your siblings, showed them no dream was out of reach. You were such an inspiring role model, oh why did you have to leave? I wish I'd given longer hugs, more kisses on your cheek, I'd give anything, everything for just one more chance just to hear you speak. Our family chain was broken the day you had to go. A piece of me left with you, a pain I'll always know. I ask myself how does a mother keep going knowing a piece of her heart is gone? I can hear your voice saying, “Mom, you have to be strong. Be there for my siblings, you have to carry on”.
Corbin, you were my greatest protector, never liked to see me sad. You were one of the greatest blessings, I've ever had. I'll cherish all the laughs, the memories we shared. And knowing your up in Heaven by our Lord's side, reminds me of how deeply our Lord Cares. I thank God for blessing me with such a special Son, a son who would go above & beyond for his dearest Mom.
