With sadness we announce the sudden passing of our mom, grandma, sister, aunt, great aunt, niece, cousin and friend, Annie Spence on July 28, 2026 at the age of 58 years.

Annie leaves to mourn her children, Tanya (Kyle) Scott, Mitchell Spence, Max Spence, Michael Spence and Angel Spence; her grandchildren, Trezaly, Tesaley, Twyla, Taleigha, Xavier, Xander, Arthur, Scona, Maximus and Jaxx; along with Faith and Manuel whom she raised for a few years; her siblings, Mike (Mary), Barbara (Howard), Gladys, Harriet, Wayne (Shannon) and Doreen (Thompson); her aunt, Beatrice; her best friends, Katie Guimont and Faron Young; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Annie was predeceased by her parents, Archie and Gladys Scott; her husband, Marty Spence; mother in-law, Shirley Spence; her brother in-law, Harvey; as well as numerous other relatives.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Misipawistik Cree Nation Chief & Council; Ndinawemak, who took her  in and gave her and her sons a place to stay.

Mom had a big heart, she always put others before herself.  She had a close relationship with all her family.  She would take care of her nieces and nephews whenever they would come around.  Mom was especially close to her kids and grandkids, they were her first priority.  Mom read her Bible and had devotions.  She had a relationship with the Lord. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by us all.

If Roses Grow In Heaven
If roses grow in Heaven
Lord, please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Mother's arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her that I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there's an ache within my heart
that will never go away.

i hope heaven knows what it has in you..
because down here, the missing you never ends
and i still look for you in places you should be.

i wonder if you see me..
and i hope the words i speak to you in my heart
somehow make their way to you.

i imagine that you are somewhere beautiful,
with no pain, no fear, no hurt or heartache..
just the peace you always deserved.

and i hope you know that
i still carry you with me in all that I do
because you don't just live in heaven..
you still live on in me.
