“Center of the Earth Flying Thunderbird Woman”

It is with aching hearts and quiet sorrow, we announce that our dear Addie had started her journey to the spirit world on October 23, 2026, at the age of 64. She is now reunited with her devoted partner of 50 years, Terry, who left for the spirit world on September 28,2026.

Addie leaves behind a beautiful legacy for her children and grandchildren. While we grieve, we find comfort in the beautiful memories of the love she shared with us all. Addie leaves to cherish her memory are her loving children- Andrea, Jeremy, Ashley (Joey)- and her beautiful grandchildren Landon, Eli, Jayden, Elyssia (Dolls), Lily, Isaiah. She also leaves behind to treasure her memory are her sisters- Edith Bear, Sharon Boulette (Button), LaVerne Sinclair- brothers Sherman (Linda) Sinclair, Fred Sinclair, Allan Sumner (Barb). Also to hold her memory dear are her in laws- Joan Sinclair, Linda Stevenson (Lloyd), Sarah Stevenson, Hazel Stevenson, Shirley Stevenson and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Addie was predeceased by her parents Allan & Elsie Sinclair, in-laws Bethuel & Dora Stevenson – brothers John R. (Bobbie) Sinclair, Reverand Allan Sinclair Jr. – in-laws Stanley, Chief Louie, Vernon, Wendy (aka Dim), John Sinclair. Also, her son-in-law Aaron Cameron who had a special place in Addie’s heart.

Addie had many roles in life: a child, wife, mom, Nan, sister friend, aunt, and nurse. Addie was employed at Fisher River Personal Care Home for a couple years, then at Peguis Health Centre for 34 years until her retirement in April 2026. Addie loved cooking, merchandise bingos, and having family over. When Addie cooked and invited family over it didn’t have to be special occasion. She also loved when extended family gathered for celebrations. Addie was always buying groceries even if she didn’t need them. Her pantry was well stocked and would joke about her children going shopping at Mom and Dads.

Addie and Terry loved to go to South Beach, going out to supper or just driving around. One of the many places they enjoyed was Lake St. George and Goodmans Landing. In her later years they started gardening. They would sit in their lawn chairs looking the work done in their garden. Addie and Terry took pride in their garden.  One of the highlights in Addie’s life was going to Landon and Eli’s hockey games and cheering them on. She was so proud of them.

A special heartfelt thanks to everyone that supported Addie through the highs and lows of her sickness: friends and family, Percy Moore Hospital staff, Peguis Health Center staff.
